Rosslyn is a Child of God.
She loves creating beautiful, modern, and timeless spaces. Led by her passion for interior design, Rosslyn founded Modern Property Design, a residential interior design firm located in Washington, DC.
Her Story
Although she has more than 20 years of project management experience in the public and private sector, Rosslyn decided to focus on cultivating her creativity through interior design. Thus, she transferred that experience to support her passion.
For years, she designed her rental properties and thought nothing of it. Until one day, she realized, “I just have to keep doing this. I love it.”
With her hard work and creative touch, she has bolstered her natural talents and developed a unique high-low aesthetic, enabling her to transform dull, boring spaces into elegant, modern, and visually appealing works of art.
The Birth of Modern Property Design (MPD)
In 2014, Rosslyn set out to forge her own path and completed several renovating and decorating projects in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Today, as the Principal Designer of Modern Property Design, Rosslyn juggles a full gamut of projects, ranging from modern glamour to cultured chic. She continuously creates environments that are not only functional and attractive but also a true reflection of clients’ home design vision.
