About Modern Property Design
Owned and run by Rosslyn Snowden, Modern Property Design offers full-service interior design and specializes in a clean, classic, and timeless design. Whether it’s just one room or an entire home, she focuses on ensuring the design elements you want to be incorporated are, and you are not just happy but thrilled with the outcome.
As principal designer, Rosslyn generally meets face-to-face. However, with COVID-19 restrictions still an issue, she also offers Zoom call consultations and E-design packages. Her design services are available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. She serves clients from Upper NW, Sixteenth Street Heights, Northwest Washington, Georgetown, Navy Yard, Capitol Hill, Eastern Market, Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Potomac, Maryland, and Virginia.
The Modern Property Design Difference
At Modern Property Design, while Rosslyn does keep abreast of trends and forecasts, she remains true to her clean, classic, timeless design motto. She prides herself on mixing the old with the new and being aware of current trends but not necessarily following them.
One aspect that makes her second to none is that even with the limitations of COVID-19, she has pivoted to a more online, streamlined type of service to give existing clients a seamless experience, successfully managing timeline issues and product delays.
What sets her apart from the rest of her competitors is she absolutely loves trimming molding on walls. Molding can transform a plain room into a beautiful, modern masterpiece, and it’s absolutely one of her favorite things to do.
One of Rosslyn’s most significant achievements has been the high rate of repeat and new business she receives thanks to kind recommendations and referrals from satisfied customers.
Her dream for the future is to one day design a hotel. However, in this current space, she wants to continue to show clients that they matter and demonstrate that beautiful design is accessible and doable.
